Thongs come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and materials. In fact, the selection is close to overwhelming. The good news is that if you can imagine it, there’s probably a thong like it. The bad news is if you’re indecisive, you might have a hard time choosing exactly which thong to get.

Perhaps the most important factor to consider, at least at first, is the material. Material that is suitable to be paired up with your lingerie collection might not work so well if you decide to want to wear thongs all the time. Also, if you choose material that you just don’t enjoy against you, then the thong will be counterproductive to what it should be doing and just make you uncomfortable. Silks, satins, and cotton are all popular materials. The first two are geared towards the more erotic applications of thongs, while cotton is just a nice everyday material to have about. If you are in for a more exotic look, you might want to turn to leather and pvc for that wildly sexy look.
