Well, you did it - you’re going to an audition. Whether the agency is having an open call where any aspiring model can attend or a closed audition, there are some definite do’s and don’t to ensure your chances of modeling survival.

Do’s
1. Show up early
2. Be prepared to work hard - modeling isn’t just laying around and letting people take pretty pictures of you
3. Be used to staying in one position for a long amount of time - posing for college art classes can help get your muscles used to this.
4. Help out as much as you can - don’t complain about how early it is, talk with your makeup designer about what colors you feel best accent your skin.
5. Be pleasant. You are too early in your career to take a prima donna attitude - although you shouldn’t even consider one later in your career. You can find beautiful people around every corner. Beautiful personalities though - those are rare.
