Spooning, while maybe not your idea of a hard core and crazy sex position, is nice for body exploration, romantic gestures, and a general well being. Calm, relaxing, and sensual sex is always a good thing, after all! Most spooning positions can greatly change the angle, speed, and depth of penetration simply by changing a few things - the lift of a leg here, the spread of the body there - it’s all the small things that count.

The most basic spooning position is the man behind the woman, his body curled around hers. They are pressed closely together, and have maximum contact around every inch of the body. Light, teasing penetration can be had from this position. Moving the legs up slightly will allow for more penetration and stimulation of the pussy.
Moving from this position, the woman can remain laying prone as the man kneels behind her. This is a very interesting sensation, as the woman can’t make too much of a motion back towards the man, allowing for him to have to completely work for it. A slight cross over to the woman on top is using the edge of the bed to aid you. The man is below the woman, with his legs hanging off the bed and on the floor for support. Back to the Perfumed Garden! At least we know those guys knew how to get it on back in the olden days. This position has both partners facing each other, arms and legs intertwined, with the man slightly lifted, allowing him to penetrate at an angle. Rocket Sled - I really love some of the position names I hear, they really make you wonder what the hell people were thinking during sex… Anyway, this is a spooning position where both partners are sitting up. He is on the bed itself, with legs hanging down. She is on top, basically siting on his lap, and controlling the motion primarily through sliding motions. This is a great position to both spoon, and stimulate the g spot. At least, once you can get past giggling at the name (I’m still working on that part…).
