For unique lingerie that use some traditional elements, you might have to turn your eye to smaller lingerie manufacturers. The independent designers often add flourishes or use elements that you just never see in the mainstream lingerie designs. Although, once an off the trail style gets popular enough, it becomes mainstream.
Crystals, beads, sequence, and gemstones are something you don’t see often in lingerie, at least not in large quantities and they can look hot. Adding these to your outfit will give it something that isn’t the norm, and let you stand out.
Completely reversing what you normally wear is good for breaking boredom. If you are always in a demure little chemise, try wearing a daring corset or bustier. If you favor fetish leather teddys, try wearing something sleek and silk. You’ll find your mood changed greatly with just a switch in clothes, and you’ll definitely have some fun in hot lingerie you don’t normally wear.
Buying your usual lingerie, but getting a completely different material or pattern is great too. You can try out silk, brocade, or many other different combinations that subtlety, but undeniably change how you feel about your lingerie.
